On or about Tuesday the 13th of December, 2011, two large male white tailed deer were killed with archery equipment on Mission Island in Thunder Bay.  One of the deer, found in the side yard of a private residence on 103rd street had been decapitated. The second deer, found in a side yard of a residence on 105th street had its antlers forcibly removed.  When they were discovered, both carcasses had spoiled.
