Arson to vehicles (P09020508/P09020511)

Crime Stoppers is looking for your help in identifying those responsible for two vehicle arsons committed on the city's south side.

City police responded to the Cumming Street area on Feb 25 @0400 hrs. A vehicle was reported to be on fire. As there appeared to be nothing wrong with the truck arson is believed to be the cause of the fire.

A short time later, City police responded to the Redwood Ave area as a second truck had been set on fire. Arson is again the cause for this fire and in this case a burnt rag was found stuffed in the gas tank filler door.

In both cases the vehicles were total right offs and it is most fortunate that no one was hurt in these blazes.
