Homicide

The Government of the Province of Ontario is offering a reward in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the Murder of Judith “Judie” THIBAULT, age 58 years.
On November 21, 2000, Judie THIBAULT was reported missing to the Thunder Bay Police. On November 22nd, 2000, THIBAULT’S car, a 1983 Pontiac Lemans, two tone grey, Ontario Licence 058 ZWT, was located at the Intercity Shopping Plaza Center in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The Thunder Bay Police conducted as extensive investigation but were unable to locate THIBAULT.
On the 26th of August, 2004, skeletal remains were located north of Hwy. 11/17, west of the town of NIPIGON, Ontario. The remains were identified as that of THIBAULT. An autopsy has confirmed that THIBAULT met her death by foul play.
Any person having information regarding the person(s) responsible for the death of Judie THIBAULT should communicate immediately with the Director of the Criminal Investigation Branch, Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or (705) 329-6111, their nearest police authority, or Crime Stoppers.
This reward will be apportioned as deemed just by the Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services fro the Province of Ontario and the Commissioner of the Ontario Provincial Police.
